History will record that Stéphane Lefebvre (Citroën C3 R5) succeeds Kris Princen on the list of Rally du Condroz, but the celebration was spoiled yesterday by the death of co-driver Rik Van Lessen in a road accident.
The race continued this Sunday despite the tragedy, Lefebvre starting the day 14″2 ahead of Adrien Fernémont (Skoda Fabia R5). The latter will apply constant pressure on the leader, but the latter, if he did not repeat his best times from yesterday, controlled his lead, oscillating between 13″ and sometimes 18″ to finally conclude with 14″2, a gap similar to this morning.
Lefebvre finally wins in Belgium after two second places in 2015 and 2016, with the DS3 R5.

Fernémont finished the event in second place ahead of Cédric Cherain (Skoda Fabia R5), third at 26″9 and Vincent Verschueren (Skoda Fabia R5), 4th at 32″7, who stood out well today with two scratches. Ghislain de Mévius (Skoda Fabia R5) completes the top 5 of the event at 1'50”.
