Did your reconnaissance go well?

As we did not dispute the rally in 2023, there were a lot of notes to create. I'm very far from knowing the special stages by heart, even if we worked on them well with Alex (Coria his co-driver, Editor's note). If we were able to view last year's cameras, the configuration of the ES has changed, because there is more snow this year. The angle of turns and the width of the road vary.

Have you determined a tactic to approach this event?

We must try to find a good rhythm on Friday to obtain an interesting starting order on Saturday morning. We're going to set off 4es tonight and tomorrow. This is not exceptional. We know that there are drivers behind us who will be much faster. We won't try to play with them or we'll get screwed at some point. It can go so fast that you can't catch up with the car. If we had to open the roadway for the 2e step, it would be very penalizing.

What will be your objective during this weekend?

Don't forget that this is only my 3e rally on snow. So I obviously lack automation. We set a very good time in the shakedown where I didn't feel like I was taking many risks. This shows that we know how to do it… but not yet all the time. We have to see the speed we are able to adopt in the corners. The grip is incredible, but on the other hand braking and restarting are less exhilarating. Our goal is not to try to get on the podium. We are going to approach the race like in Monte Carlo. I want to have fun !
