The fight promises to be intense on the first asphalt event of the season with Sébastien Ogier (Citroen), Thierry Neuville, Dani Sordo, Sébastien Loeb (Hyundai) and Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) ayant tous remporté le Rally of 10 Bends. Ott Tänak (Toyota) could also aim for a first success on the Isle of Beauty which would allow it to consolidate its position as leader of the championship.
The day will take place without assistance, with the crews only having assistance on the tires at midday. The stage will include three special stages covered twice for a total of 121,8km timed.
