Tänak the survivor of the Rally of Türkiye

The second passage of the second stage of Rally from Türkiye once again brought its share of surprises. The general classification is once again shaken up, especially after SS11 which saw problems accumulate among the competitors.

Craig Breen (Citroën) saw his C3 WRC go up in smoke while he was in 6th place.

The provisional podium is completed by Hayden Paddon (Hyundai) who is one minute behind the Yaris WRC. The New Zealander is more than 2 minutes ahead of Teemu Suninen (M-Sport) while Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai) completes the Top 5 after a very complicated passage.

Henning Solberg (Skoda) is in an unexpected 6th position even though he is not eligible for WRC 2, ahead of Elfyn Evans (M-Sport) by almost 4 minutes who returned to Rally 2 this Saturday.

Jan Kopecky (Skoda) regained the lead of WRC 2, occupying 8th place in the standings. The Czech took advantage of a stop by Chris Ingram (Skoda) in SS13. The Briton finds himself 3rd in WRC 2 behind Simone Tempestini (Citroën).

The final stage of Rally Turkey is scheduled to start at 9:08 a.m. with 4 special stages on the program.
