Tänak still pursued by Neuville in Germany

Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) is still fighting against Toyota drivers Kris Meeke and Jari-Matti Latvala to stay on the provisional podium. The six-time champion WRC ahead of the Northern Irishman by less than 4 seconds while the Finn follows his teammate with a similar gap.

Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai) still occupies 6th place, but it is now his teammate Dani Sordo who is the closest threat. The Spaniard took over Esapekka Lappi (Citroën) taking advantage of an error by the Finn who found himself stuck in a ditch, but the C3 WRC driver remained in contact with less than 2 seconds behind his Hispanic rival.

Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota) poursuit son apprentissage au volant de la Yaris WRC avec laquelle il occupe la 9e position devant Gus Greensmith (M-Sport) victime d’une crevaison sur le premier parcours de la journée.

The WRC 2 category rankings have been shaken up. It is now Jan Kopecky (Skoda) who leads the WRC 2 Pro on the outskirts of the Top 10 after two crashes by his teammate Kalle Rovanperä. Éric Camilli (Ford) is now 3rd in the category following the Finn's errors. Nicolas Ciamin (Volkswagen) was best placed in the WRC 2 categories after the exit of Stéphane Lefebvre (Volkswagen) in SS9, but the Frenchman stopped on the last stage. Fabian Kreim (Skoda) is now leading WRC 2.
