Thierry Neuville with Citroën in the WRC

Thierry Neuville will join Citroën to compete in the rounds of the WRC in 2012. The Belgian highlighted himself this year by winning the Tour de Corse and the Rally Sanremo. The PSA group rewards the Belgian driver of the year by incorporating him into its Citroën Junior Team structure to allow him to compete at least nine rallies in 2012. He will not be present at the New Zealand Rally and the Rally Italy. but could win his entry into Alsace and Spain if he convinces with his results at the start of the season.

“Since I had the chance to test the Citroën DS3 WRC, I have dreamed of competing in races with it”, declares Thierry Neuville. “This will be the case at the Monte-Carlo Rally and I must admit that I still find it hard to believe it. The season was very positive with two victories on two legendary rallies. I am going to raise the bar even higher and I am very proud that Citroën Racing trusts me for 2012.
