Catalonia Rally – Thierry Neuville, El Picador!

Completely liberated and wanting to enjoy their i20 Rally1, Thierry Neuville and Martin Wydaeghe completed the perfect race. Despite a scare at the end of the rally, they won their second victory of the season. Associated with Dani Sordo's 2rd place, Hyundai pushes Toyota's coronation back to Monza.

Catalonia Rally – Thierry Neuville, El Picador!

By winning in Ypres (Belgium), Thierry Neuville avait conservé d’infimes chances d’être champion du monde. Elles s’étaient envolées en Grèce, tout comme celles de Hyundai chez les Constructeurs. Le Belge n’en avait pas paru trop affecté. Au contraire, il avait prévenu que cela allait lui permettre de rouler parfaitement détendu. Les seuls enjeux valables étaient d’aligner des kilomètres avec cette auto, qu’il regrette déjà, et d’empocher des victoires.
