If Hyundai ultimately managed to achieve the best season in its history in WRC with 5 victories including 2 for Thierry Neuville, the Belgian is convinced that he and his team can still do better with the i20. “ We reversed the situation during the year, rejoices the person concerned. The season was difficult, but our victories were a boost for the whole team. We all know there is still work to be done on the car for the whole team.

I think we can be proud of our results this year, but we are aware that the (other) teams will be difficult to beat next year and that the hardest part awaits us. Each rally will be a huge fight and we must be ready for it. Like everyone on the team, I am ready for the challenge and I will continue to attack »

Hyundai and Thierry Neuville now have until January 19 (date of the start of the 2023 season at Monte-Carlo) to refine a competitive i20 from the first special of the year. Otherwise, they could relive a difficult campaign.
