Thierry Neuville fastest in shakedown in Germany

On a course that becomes dirtier and dirtier as the competitors pass by, Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 WRC) got off to a good start to its German weekend during the shakedown. The Belgian from the Korean team completed the 4,09 km of the Eiweiler section, setting a benchmark time of 2’25″8.

Most of the best times were achieved during the first passages and the championship leader was ultimately ahead of Andreas Mikkelsen (Citroën C3 WRC) by nine tenths and Sébastien Ogier (Ford Fiesta WRC) of 1″2.

Kris Meeke places the second Citroën C3 in fourth place, 2″4 ahead of his teammate Craig Breen. The first one Toyota Yaris de Jari-Matti Latvala pointe en sixième position à 3″7. Juho Hänninen (Toyota), Dani Sordo (Hyundai), Ott Tänak (Ford) and Elfyn Evans (Ford) complete the top 10.
