Thierry Neuville: “Step back to jump better”

A few days ago, Hyundai Motorsport announced that Thierry Neuville would be lined up for his second team in Great Britain in November, replaced in the seat of the i20 WRC n°7 by New Zealander Hayden Paddon, best time this morning at the shakedown of the Rally of Spain.

This solution was found by the management of the team based in Alzenau in Germany, to restore confidence to the Belgian after a difficult period in the World Cup. « I say you have to know how to step back to jump better, specifies the 2013 world vice-champion to AUTOhebdo.

That's how I see things. I never imagined it would come to this situation. A lot has happened in two years, positive and negative emotional situations, which have been disturbing. It's up to me to find the panache with the help of the team. »
