Tommi Mäkinen at the wheel for the WRC in Finland

The information came this Wednesday via our Finnish colleagues from Ilta-Sanomat. Finnish legend Tommi Mäkinen will make his comeback behind the wheel in an event WRC. On the occasion of Rally of Finland which will take place from September 30 to October 3, the four-time World Champion will take part in a demonstration organized before the opening special which will take place in Harju.
He will thus find a car that he knows well since it is the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo III. He won with this mount during the Rallye des 1000 lacs in 1996.
“The Flying Finn” will therefore be present on its land, in Finland, to put on a show in front of its audience. The Nordic event will also celebrate its 70th anniversary. It deserved a little “comeback”.
