No scratches for Kalle Rovanperä this afternoon! Ultra dominant this morning, the pilot Toyota managed a little more during the last two specials. But it was his rivals who stood out. Sébastien Ogier (Toyota) made up time during SS11 where the Finn lost 6”2. BeforeOtt Tänak (Hyundai) takes 3”8 back from him by setting the last best time of the day. “ The choice of tires was good and I had fun with the car », confided the Estonian upon arrival.

In the rankings, Kalle Rovanperä has nothing to worry about. He remains 30”8 ahead of the Hyundai driver and 40”2 over his teammate. Bad operation on the other hand for Dani Sordo, the Spaniard almost lost all chances of a podium. In difficulty in the two afternoon stages, he is now 2'09”4 behind Kalle Rovanperä. Adrien fourmaux is still in a good 5th place. The Frenchman must watch out for Gus Greensmith who came back to less than 16 seconds.

Elfyn Evans (Toyota) and Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) tried to compete with the three leaders without succeeding in taking the first places in the specials. Victim of technical problems on Friday and in the opening role this Saturday, Pierre-Louis Loubet (2C Competition) suffered greatly and is now relegated to more than 18 minutes from the lead.

In WRC2, Marco Bulacia took back control of the standings, thanks to his two successes in as many special stages. Andreas Mikkelsen, his teammate, did not give him much room, the Norwegian was only 8 tenths behind. Victory should be decided between his two drivers, since Nikolay Gryazin is 3'14”5 from the race lead.

Yohan Rossel consolidates his lead at the top of the WRC 3. The Frenchman won SS11 with more than 8 seconds ahead of his runner-up. The Citroën driver then dropped 10 seconds to Kajetan Kajetanowicz. With 3 stages to go, he is 19'1 ahead of the Pole and 34”5 over the Englishman Chris Ingram.

Le rally will resume this Sunday for 3 special stages, starting with SS13 from 7:25 a.m.
