Toyota in preparation tests for Corsica

After a difficult Rally of Mexico in the Japanese clan, Toyota wants to bounce back in Corsica for the first asphalt event of the 2018 season.

Largely disturbed by cooling problems on its Yaris WRC, Toyota Gazoo Racing did not shine on Mexican soil, and intends to return to the leading roles on the Corsican asphalt from April 5 to 8.

For this, Tommi Mäkinen's men are racking up the kilometers in testing, for what will be the first real confrontation on asphalt in 2018. Last year, Jari-Matti Latvala took fourth place in the French round of the WRC, while Juho Hänninen was forced to retire. Esapekka Lappi will make his WRC debut on the Isle of Beauty.
