Toyota expand your trophy cabinet even further! Thanks to the 3rd and 4th places of Elfyn Evans and Kalle Rovanperä during the Rally of Chile, combined with the nine points scored during the Power Stage, the Japanese manufacturer won its seventh title in WRC.

With 106 points ahead of Hyundai at the finish of the South American event, Toyota can no longer be caught up in the championship during the last three rounds remaining on the calendar, while there are only 104 points left to distribute among the Manufacturers.

This new title comes in addition to those acquired in 1993, 1994 (Celica Turbo 4WD), 1999 (Corolla WRC), 2018, 2021 (Yaris WRC) and 2022 (GR Yaris Rally1). Still as dominant since the start of the hybrid era in the WRC, Toyota has won no less than eight victories in the eleven rallies contested in 2023.

In the WRC rankings, Toyota remains the third most decorated manufacturer in history behind Lancia (10 titles) and Citroën (8 titles). Next objective for the Japanese firm: the Drivers' title, which has already been acquired for Toyota since only Kalle Rovanperä and Elfyn Evans can still claim the world crown.
