A 5-date calendar for the Junior WRC in 2022

For this new Junior campaign WRC, the organizers have focused on continuity but also on novelty. If the events in Croatia, Portugal and Estonia are still there, those in Sweden and Greece have been included for the first time in the category program.

For this 2022 season which will be contested on all types of surface (snow, asphalt and dirt), competitors will have the opportunity to use the all-new Ford Fiesta Rally3 prepared by M-Sport Poland, the first four-wheel drive in the history of the Junior WRC.

The next campaign will begin on Swedish snow in February before moving on to Croatian bitumen in April and Portuguese gravel in May. The 2022 financial year will end with two rounds on gravel in Estonia and Greece. This final event will double the points of drivers who have participated in at least 3 of the 5 rallies on the calendar.

As a reminder, the Junior WRC is reserved for drivers born on or after January 1, 1992. The winner will be offered participation in four European rallies in the 2023 WRC2 season with a Ford Fiesta Rally2 from M-Sport as well as a day of tests before each round.
