The Tour de Corse historique will present an 80% renewed route in 2018. Bastia will notably be a stopover town.

A new route at the 2018 Tour de Corse historique

For its 18th edition, the Tour de Corse historique will have a makeover in 2018. Organized from October 8 to 13, the island event will benefit from an 80% renewed route, with ten entirely new special stages or more seen on the route since several years.

Porto-Vecchio will host the start of the race, which will take place over 333 km against the clock over fifteen SS, of which here is the detailed route:

Wednesday 10 October:

SS1: Ventisieri – Mignataja (20,38 km)
SS2: Tallone – Erbajolo (28,52 km)
SS3: Ponte-Leccia – Pont-Novu (22,53 km)
SS4: Barchetta – Casamozza (10,67 km)

Thursday 11 October:

SS5: Poggio-Mezzana – Taglio-Isolaccio (14,80 km)
SS6: Querciolo – La Porta (27,43 km)
SS7: Lento – Canavaggia (26,66 km)
SS8: Castifao – Olmi-Capella (20,90 km)

Friday October 12:

SS9: Notre Dame de la Serra – Col de la Palmarella (43,04 km)
SS10: Appriciani – Liamone (13,88 km)
SS11: Liamone Beach – Sarrola-Carcopino (25,44 km)

Saturday October 13:

SS12: Verghia – Pietra-Rossa (26,51 km)
SS13: Martini – Fozzano (14,66 km)
SS14: Acoravo Bridge – Aullène (22,44 km)
SS15: Levie – Col de Bacinu (20,21 km)

The technical and administrative checks will take place in Porto-Vecchio on Monday and Tuesday October 8 and 9.
