The route for the 2017 Rally Australia has been revealed with the publication of Rally Guide 1. Several new features are on the program for the season finale.

A widely reviewed route in Australia

Placed in the concluding round of the 2017 World Rally Championship, the Rally of Australia will see its route largely revised for this edition, contested from November 16 to 19. Friday will be the main day affected with a route moved north from Coffs Harbor base camp.

Three special stages Pilbara (9,7 km), Eastbank (18,9 km) and Sherwood (26,6 km) will be completed twice, before a double pass in the Destination NSW super-special, 1,27 km long. .

Saturday's stage will be marked by the very long Nambucca ES, slightly shortened to 48,89 km, with the last 2,25 kilometers completely new. After the sections of Newry17 (redesigned course) and Raceway (super-special identical to 2016), the afternoon will pass through the ES of Welshs Creek (33,49 km) and Argents Hill (12,33 km), which will divide the Nambucca special in two sectors, before two passages in Destination NSW.

On Sunday, Pilbara Reverse (10,03 km) will be new, while the Bucca16 (31,90 km) and Wedding Bells 16 (6,44 km) sectors will remain the same as in 2016.
