Twice winner of the Rally of Portugal in 1991 with the Toyota Celica GT-Four and in 1995 with the Subaru Impreza, Carlos Sainz had started in WRC in 1987 on the Lusitanian event.

“It’s a great opportunity that was offered to me by Red Bull and Peugeot, a very exciting challenge and the opportunity to reunite with the big rally family, explains El Matador. The Fafe special has changed a lot, the reference points are no longer the same.

We recalled our memories with Luis during the reconnaissance. We had a lot of fun! Junior Pepe Lopez came to watch how I was driving his Peugeot 208 T16. I wish him the best for the rest of the season. ERC »
