The two Hyundai drivers were able to take the wheel of the other's car. Thierry Neuville was first co-driver for Norbert Michelisz with the i20, before the latter became a passenger when the Belgian took to the road with the Veloster.

“I was looking forward to this day, Michelisz said. It was the first time for me in a car rally. Sitting next to Thierry was an incredible experience. The Hyundai i20 N Rally1 is fantastic and with his guidance you were able to get the feel and gain confidence. »

“There is a big difference compared to the Veloster N ETCR, you can slide a little more. You can feel the hybrid system working, it's unique. The power and acceleration of the car are excellent”, continued the Hungarian pilot.

Thierry Neuville also enjoyed his first experience with an electric passenger car. " I liked that ! I'm discovering an electric racing car, it's the first time for me. What's impressive about these cars is the power that arrives instantly and in a linear fashion. In just three laps, I was able to get a good impression of the sensations and what the future will be like. » A little moment of pleasure at Hyundai before heading to Estonia for the next round of the WRC (July 14-17).
