Wilson: Solberg can beat Sordo

Sébastien Loeb seems out of reach in this first event of the 2012 season. The Citroën driver is 1'37" ahead of his closest rival Dani Sordo (Mini) before starting the third stage. But the Spaniard will have to protect his position from the attacks of Petter Solberg (Ford), the 2003 world champion being only 3"7 behind the Mini JCW WRC.

Malcolm Wilson makes no mistake and intends to see his new holder snatch second place before the arrival of rally. “Make no mistake, I want to get the points for the Constructors’ Championship.”, however assures the director of the Ford team. “But at the same time Petter Solberg has to learn the car and find his limits. I just want to see him stay on the road. He was careful in the last special and he wants to finish the stage without making any mistakes for his first rally with us. I think he can beat Dani. »
