WRC 2022, branching into the unknown

If the show offered as a presentation of the 2022 WRC season was a little lacking in sparkle, the essentials were done. The teams are in place, the liveries of the cars have been revealed, the list of questions has been updated... Everything is in order for the big show which begins with Monte-Carlo this weekend.

Presentation of the 2022 WRC Championship

« Exciting ". This is undoubtedly the word that was uttered most often during this presentation evening of the World Rally Championship. WRC 2022, Saturday January 14. This sometimes bordered on overdose, overplaying as if we absolutely had to reassure ourselves and convince ourselves that the WRC is going to experience a magical season. There are so many unknowns that this will certainly be the case. There was no need to do as much as what the ever-present WRC Promoter leaders offered. Originally, the media were invited to Hangar-7 of Red Bull, in Salzburg in Austria, then the pandemic and local measures prevented the WRC from celebrating the advent of this new era. This led to a somewhat bombastic evening where it was difficult to get everyone to react in a short space of time and on a theme that has not yet been perfectly mastered. If this discipline offers incredible actions in the times, it still has progress to make when it comes to presenting itself in a glamorous and accessible face.
