WRC 3 – Rossel as boss at the Greece rally

He attacked when he wanted, he managed when he had to, Yohan Rossel did everything well on the Greek roads. The Frenchman won the rally from Greece in his category with 32”8 ahead of his runner-up Kajetan Kajetanowicz. Yohan Rossel built his victory in several stages. The Citroën driver showed extreme consistency on Friday. Still ranked in the top 4 during the day's 5 specials, Yohan Rossel was in 4th place, 26”8 behind leader Chris Ingram.

Who could have predicted that 24 hours later, the tricolor would be leader with 20 seconds ahead of everyone? Two scratches and three 2nd places later, the Rookie Academy driver is in the lead overall. A place that would allow him to get a little closer to the title. However, the Citroën driver preferred to remain cautious: “Tomorrow is a long day and we have to stay focused. »

That’s exactly what the 26-year-old pilot did. Still on the attack, Yohan Rossel took the two scratches on Sunday morning to be able to manage the Power Stage. He drops 10 seconds on his rivals but still has a lead of more than 30. The Frenchman had a big scare in the liaison to reach the podium. He broke a driveshaft and damaged his power steering but was still able to get back on the top step.

This success allows him to increase his capital point to 155 and to be 50 units ahead of his runner-up Kajetan Kajetanowicz. A perfect rally in every way for the Frenchman.
