WRC / Argentina: Sordo does not set a goal

After Jari-Matti Latvala broke his collarbone, Ford WRT chose Dani Sordo to replace the Finn in Argentina. The manufacturer with the blue oval opted for the Spaniard who was not planned at the start of the event. The latter will have time to get his bearings with the Fiesta RS WRC, rally focusing on length with 503km timed. If the usual driver of the British structure seems to have adapted well to his new mount, he does not want to put additional pressure on himself by setting objectives.

« It's like I'm at home because I speak the same language and I've received fantastic support from the spectators for several years.", comments Dani Sordo. “I'm delighted to drive for Ford in Argentina because you can always race when you're a driver. Even though I didn't spend much time behind the wheel of the Fiesta RS WRC, I quickly felt comfortable during testing. The engineers gave me a good set-up base and I will approach the tests in Argentina with these settings. It's just one outing with Ford but I want to give the best of myself for the team and prove to them that they made the right decision. I don't set any goals for myself other than finishing in the points and I will choose my speed based on how I feel when I start. »
