The gymkhana star will participate in a round of the WRC at the end of the season as well as the American World RX meeting with a new decoration for his Ford.

WRC and World RX: Ken Block reveals his plans for 2018

It has been four years since the World Rally Championship (WRC) had no longer welcomed the whimsical Ken Block. This error will be corrected on the occasion of the Rally of Catalonia (Spain, October 25-28), where the king of gymkhana will pilot a new generation Ford Fiesta from the team M-Sport Ford.

Ken Block's last participation in the WRC dates back to the 2014 Rally of Catalonia, which he finished in 12th place. His best Rally result was a 7th position in Mexico in 2013, at the time in a Ford Fiesta of his own team.

The brand new fifty-year-old will also take part in the round of World Championship Rallycross (World RX) on the new Austin circuit (Texas, September 28-29). He will return to his Ford Focus with which he participated in the last two World RX campaigns with the Hoonigan Racing Division (14th in 2016, 9th in 2017).

The founder of the DC Shoes brand will accompany the launch of the American Rallycross also in Austin and Trois-Rivières (Canada, August 4-5). Finally, Ken Block brought up to date a Ford Escort RS for three events of the American Rally Championship (American Stage Rally).
