Hayden Paddon has been extended within Hyundai Motorsport for the next three years. The 28-year-old New Zealander will compete the entire 2016 season next to Thierry Neuville and Dani Sordo.
After competing in six events in 2014, Hayden Paddon distinguished himself by securing a second place in the Rally of Sardinia last June, a year after making its debut there with the Korean manufacturer. The Korean firm's new hope also has four finishes in the top five this season with two rounds remaining.
“The team has helped me progress over the last two seasons and, with this joint development, I am sure that victory is close”, commented the New Zealander co-driven by John Kennard. “We are working to become world champions and I sincerely believe that Hyundai Motorsport offers me the best opportunity to achieve this goal. We need to start with a success and that will be my goal for 2016.”
