WRC – Latvala penalized at Rally Poland
Jari-Matti Latvala will have to settle for 5th place in the Rally from poland. After having painfully completed the Power Stage following an exit from the road a few turns from the finish, the Volkswagen driver still had to complete the event with a radiator damaged by the frontal impact against a tree.
The Finn nevertheless managed to reach the final finish of the Rally Poland, but his delay at the time control cost him a 40 second penalty. The Finn thus lost his 4th place against Hayden Paddon which finished with a lead of around ten seconds over the Polo R WRC.
