WRC – The Tour de Corse will replace the Rallye d’Alsace

The Tour de Corse will make its return to the world level rally for the first time since 2008. The Assembly of the Territorial Collectivity of Corsica spoke out yesterday in favor of holding the event by providing support. As we announced to you in issue 1995 of AUTOhebdo, the event will be contested on the same dates as those planned for Alsace, namely from October 2 to 4.

The 58th edition of the Tour de Corse will offer a route crossing Haute-Corse and Corse-du-Sud and will be composed of a “succession of very long special tests”. The event will also welcome different cars competing outside the classification. WRC including Super Cars, prestige vehicles or contemporary GTs. “The FFSA will thus offer a wide range of practitioners the opportunity to discover the Corsican territory alongside the World Championship, as part of an event combining regularity, discovery and relaxation. »

The FFSA has specified that an official presentation will be scheduled in Corsica in order to unveil the route of the 58th edition.
