WRC – Mikkelsen can’t wait to do battle with the new Polo R WRC

After the rout of Volkswagen in Argentina, the VW drivers intend to resume their series of good results this weekend at Rally from Portugal. Andreas Mikkelsen will have the latest version of the Polo R WRC from which his teammates already benefit Sébastien Ogier and Jari-Matti Latvala since the start of the season.

Andreas Mikkelsen will look to get back on the podium after taking 3rd place in the first three events of the season. “Rally Portugal is where I made my WRC debut two years ago and I finished in 6th place on my first attempt. I finished just off the podium last year.", remembers the Norwegian. “I really want to finish in the top three this season. The course will be new and everyone will start on an equal level. The Scandinavian is in 3rd place in the Championship, 4 points behind Mads Ostberg and 37 points behind Sébastien Ogier.
