WRC – Ogier widens the gap at Rally Germany

Sébastien Ogier still left only one scratch Jari-Matti Latvala in the morning of the second stage of the Rally of Germany, which brings to 11 the number of special victories recorded by the leader of the event in 13 courses. His lead over the Finn increased to more than 18 seconds, whileAndreas Mikkelsen is content to observe in order to ensure the hat-trick for Volkswagen.

The pilots Hyundai always fighting for places of honor. If Thierry Neuville managed to catch his teammate Dani sordo, the Spaniard responded in Panzerplatte (SS13), the longest special stage of the Rally Germany, to return to service with a lead of almost 7 seconds over the 2013 vice-champion.

Elfyn Evans (Ford) slightly increased his lead over his teammate Ott Tänak. The Estonian is under direct threat of Mads ostberg (Citroën) returned to just half a second from 7th place. Hayden Paddon (Hyundai) and Stéphane Lefebvre (Citroën) still complete the top ten. Robert Kubica (Ford) did not reach the finish of Panzerplatte.

In WRC2, Jan Kopecky (Fabia R5) remains solid leader in front Craig Breen (208 T16 R5) which still has a 20 second lead over Eric Camilli (Fiesta R5) followed by his compatriot Quentin Giordano (DS3 RRC).

Romain Dumas remains firmly at the head of the R-GT on its Porsche 911 GT3 RS, while Francois Delecour went off the road into Panzerplatte.
