WRC – Ogier first leader at Rally Argentina

Sébastien Ogier offered himself the scratch and the head of the Rally of Argentina by winning the Merlo-San Luis super special, 2,68km long, in 2’32”0. The Volkswagen driver preceded his teammate Andreas Mikkelsen by two tenths, tied with Kris Meeke. Jari-Matti Latvala followed in fourth position, while Dani Sordo completed the top five, one second behind the benchmark.

Ott Tänak et Elfyn Evans, les deux pensionnaires de M-Sport, se sont classés à plus de 3 secondes du temps scratch, bien derrière Thierry Neuville who set the pace for his teammate.

After covering more than 400km round trip for this super special, the crews will get down to business with the first 150km timed stage.

The Rally Argentina will be followed live on AUTOhebdo.fr. The TV Team and Motors TV will offer stage summaries (detailed timetables in the 2008 issue of AUTOhebdo).
