WRC – An 80km special at Rally Mexico

An 80km special will be scheduled during the last stage of the Rally of Mexico contested from March 3 to 6, never seen in 30 years of WRC. The organizers of the event took sections of the Guanajuatito special (already 55km long) and renamed this challenge “Rechristened Guanajuato”.

“The hardest thing will be to resist the time it takes to go through”, commented local driver Benito Guerra Jr on WRC.com. “The fastest drivers will take 52 or 53 minutes. I am especially concerned about competing in this special on Sunday because we will have to cover 80km after having competed the entire rally. It will be very interesting. »

The rest of the route will be similar to that of the previous edition.
