For the fifth consecutive year, Yohan Rossel will be at the wheel of a Citroën C3 in the world rally championship. The Nîmes remains loyal to the French manufacturer for one more season and will once again be present in WRC2. On the program: 8 rallies at the wheel of a C3 Rally2 operated by the PH Sport team, with the aim of confirming its certain potential. After Monte-Carlo, Yohan Rossel will be at the start of the rallies in Croatia, Portugal, Sardinia, Estonia, Chile and the new rally from central Europe.

Yohan Rossel won the WRC3 title in 2021 before joining the premier category in 2022. The Frenchman finished fourth in WRC2 while having scored two consecutive victories in Croatia and Portugal. Unfortunately, an accident in the PowerStage in Greece deprived him of any chance of a title at the end of the season.

Cachón and Lefebvre at the wheel of the Citroën C3 Rally2

In addition to Nîmes, two other drivers will take the wheel of the Citroën C3 Rally2 in WRC2. Alejandro Cachón, a young 23-year-old Spanish hopeful, will also defend his chances with a program of 7 rallies with the C3 Rally2 followed by the Sports & You team, again to continue his learning at the highest level.

Belgian champion in 2022 with the C3 Rally2, Stéphane Lefebvre will also be one of the spearheads of the Reds in the World Cup in 2023, as part of a program with the DG Sport team. The Northerner should make a few appearances in the world championship, having ended a long drought of 7 years with success in WRC2 during the Ypres Rally last August.
