Felipe Drugovich will have to move back to the starting grid for the Sprint Race this Saturday afternoon. Fourth in qualifying on Friday evening, the MP Motorsport driver was caught by the patrol after setting his best time under a yellow flag following the accident of Ayumu Iwasa (DAMS) at the end of the session.
Always 4e despite further improvement, Felipe Drugovich received 5 penalty places for having improved instead of slowing down after his counterpart went off the track. However, the championship leader, who can be crowned this weekend, will only observe this penalty in the Sprint Race, thus moving from 7e the 12e place. During the Main Race, there will be 4e on the grid.
