6 hours of Spa – H2: Red flag, WRT in the lead

Le WEC is definitely not spared from the vagaries of the weather. After 1000 Miles of Sebring interrupted an hour before its initial end due to the risk of storms, the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps were neutralized under Safety Car due to a deluge on the circuit. The race management has just waved the red flag.

In these conditions, after multiple pit stops behind the Safety Car and the abandonment of the Toyota n°8, it was the No. 31 of Team WRT which emerged in the lead in the second hour with Robin Frijns at the wheel. The Belgian team is ahead of the first Hypercar, theAlpine No. 36 (Andre Negro, Nicolas lapierre, Matthieu Vaxiviere) et la Toyota No. 7 (Mike conway, Kamui Kobayashi, Jose Maria López).

The AF Corse n°52 (Miguel Molina, Antonio Fuoco) and 21 (Simon Mann, Christoph Ulrich, Toni Vilander) are leading the GTE Pro and GTE Am categories. There are four hours left on the clock.
