The next round of theIMSA Sportscar Championship sera réservée aux voitures de la catégorie GTLM et GTD sur le tracé du VIRginia International Raceway (26-28 août). En GTLM, au côté des habituelles Corvette C7.R, Ford GT, Porsche 911 RSR et BMW M6, la Team Corsa is expected to enter its Ferrari 488, but has not yet determined the duo behind the wheel of the Italian GTLM.
In GTD, the main absence comes from WeatherTech Racing, which announced the withdrawal of the Porsche 911 GT3 R n°22, due in particular to a Balance of Performance deemed too little in favor of the German car.
