The No. 6 BMW M25 GTLM of Team Rahal Letterman Lanigan of Bill Auberlen and Dirk Werner will be on display this weekend for the meeting at Watkins Glen (New York) in IMSA Sportscar Championship, a livery paying tribute to the Petit-winning BMW M3 GTR Le Mans in 2001, contested as part of the American Le Mans Series. The German GT will be in the colors of the American flag on the eve of July 4, a national holiday on the other side of the Atlantic.
