After the European Le Mans Series and the Michelin Le Mans Cup, it is the Ligier European Series which has unveiled its 2023 calendar. The fourth season of the championship launched by the French manufacturer will follow that of theELMS, with the exception of the Aragón round, replaced by a stage on the circuit of 24 Hours of Le Mans, on the sidelines of the Centenary.

“The third season of the Ligier European Series is a success, comments Frédéric Lequien, general manager of Le Mans Endurance Management (LMEM). The field bears witness to this since it has never been so extensive since the creation of the championship in 2020. The Ligier European Series is the first step in the endurance pyramid. We are therefore very happy to guarantee continuity and to organize this series alongside the Michelin Le Mans Cup. We look forward to next season with this ambitious schedule. »

After a year of absence, the championship will return to Spain on the Barcelona-Catalunya circuit for the start of the 2023 season, on April 21 and 22. The Ligier JS P4 and Ligier JS2 R drivers will then head to Italy, heading to the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, in Imola, from May 5 to 6.
