Michelin Le Mans Cup – Castellet: Pole positions for WTM Racing and GMB Motorsport
WTM Racing took the first pole position of the 2022 Michelin season Le Mans Cup with a time of 1:50.508. The duo Torsten Kratz and Leonard Weiss will therefore start in first position for the race at 16:40 p.m. The Ligiers of MV2S Forestier Racing (L. Rousset / J. De Sadeleer) and Racing Spirit of Leman (A. Mattschull / T. Dillmann) took second and third places.
Jens Møller took pole position in the GT3 category. The Danish driver, who participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans twice in 2004 and 2006, set the best lap of the session in 1:56.314 for GMB Motorsport. The team's second car, the #55 (K. Jensen / K. Poulsen), and the #46 from Ebmimotors (E. Busnelli / F. Babini) completed the podium.
