In times of pandemic, it has become a fashion, “double headers” are multiplying in motorsport. In IMSA, the New York track of Watkins Glen will host the American endurance championship twice after the cancellation of the trip to Mosport (Canada). This meeting would have required a quarantine period for competitors from the United States, something that IMSA refused.
IMSA therefore remains at Watkins Glen on Friday July 2 for a new 2h40 race, where all categories will be accepted, including LM P2.
