As the 24 Hours of Daytona approaches (January 28-29), the championship kicks off IMSA, the LM P2 teams are fine-tuning their crews. This is the case of Era Motorsport which announced its drivers for the 2023 season on Saturday. The American team will be present for the 4th year in the American championship and will once again enter an Oreca 07 this year.

In 2023, no changes: Dwight Merriman and Ryan Dalziel will be back in the cockpit as starting drivers all season, while Christian Rasmussen will return for the rounds.Endurance Cup. On the other hand, Kyle Tilley's team pulled off a nice coup by attracting Oliver Jarvis into its net for the 24 Hours of Daytona. The experienced 38-year-old Briton is the current reigning winner at Daytona, victorious in DPi with Meyer Shank Racing, and 2022 IMSA champion.

“I’m excited to see what the team can do for the 2023 season, especially after coming so close to winning the championship in 2022. There are definitely things to do. With the resurgence of prototypes thanks to the GTP and LMDh, we are grateful to have been invited by IMSA to feature on the grid. With the arrival of Oliver [Jarvis], I think we can fight for victory at Daytona”, said team owner Kyle Tilley.

“I am very excited to join Era Motorsport and team up with Dwight, Ryan and Christian for the 24 Hours of Daytona, rejoiced the British pilot. I think we have a good mix of experience and youth which I hope will be the winning combination to repeat Era Motorsport's victory in 2021 and my victory in 2022. LM P2 continues to be extremely competitive , so we know that victory will require flawless racing, strong teamwork and a little luck.", added Oliver Jarvis, who will participate in the 24 Hours of Daytona for the 7th time in his career.
