The crews for the 60th edition of the 24 Hours of Daytona continue to reveal themselves. In LM P3, the Performance Tech Motorsports team has announced its four drivers for Florida. Dan Goldburg will once again be fielded by the American team, but he will have three newcomers alongside him with Hikaru Abe, Nico Pino and Garett Grist. If the latter was already at Daytona last year, in DragonSpeed's LM P2, the other two will be newbies. Former of the car, in British F4 in particular, Nico Pino had the opportunity to discover LM P3 at the age of 17 this year with Inter Europol Competition in European Le Mans Series (two races).

For Hikaru Abe, close to Kamui Kobayashi, it will be a great discovery at 34: « I had a very productive test with Performance Tech Motorsports after Thanksgiving, and I immediately felt that there was a good atmosphere and good synergy with the team, said the Japanese. I was able to get good driving advice from my manager Roger Yasukawa who I have known for many years. In order to prepare for this race, I completed many days of testing in Japan in various formulas as well as many days of karting when time permitted. I also worked on an adapted diet to improve my physical condition. I can say I'm in the best shape of my career right now, ready to take on Daytona. The objective of the race is of course to win! Together with my good friend Kamui Kobayashi, I hope we can both achieve the class victories respectively. » The World ChampionEndurance was confirmed in the No. 48 Cadillac DPi from Action Express Racing.
