The Brazilian Joao Barbosa remains leader of the 24 Hours of Daytona, following a new interruption caused by the exit of the track Ferrari 458 Italia n°64 by Francisco Longo. The driver of the No. 5 Action Express Racing Corvette DP mastered the final restart well and was ahead of the Wayne Taylor Racing sister car, led by Jordan Taylor. The two Riley-Ford DPs from Chip Ganassi Racing of Tony Kanaan and Scott Pruett remain in ambush.
