Ferrari unveils its 488 Pista “Piloti Ferrari” at Le Mans

Ferrari took advantage of 24 Hours of Le Mans 2018 to unveil its 488 Pista “Piloti Ferrari” in the paddock, which pays homage to the world titles of Drivers (James Calado – Alessandro Pier Guidi) and manufacturers in GTE Pro, won last year in WEC.

This version of the car will only be available to drivers representing the Maranello brand in one of its sports programs. This 488 Pista will feature a specific livery using the colors of the Italian flag via a central stripe on the bodywork, which can be available in Corsa Red, Tour de France Blue, Daytona Black and Nürburgring Silver.

Customers will be able to add their own race number, and thus replace the No. 51, “flocked” at Le Mans to pay tribute to the 2017 world titles. The engine block remains the 8-liter turbo V3,9, developing 720 hp, and elected for the third year in a row, Engine of the Year.
