Although the rain fell all morning in Sarthe, the drops disappeared before 11 a.m. on the Le Mans circuit. The sky has cleared and is no longer threatening for the moment. If the track is currently dry, rain may return at the end of the day. But the second qualifying session (19 p.m.-21 p.m. and 22 p.m.-midnight) could just as easily be held in the dry and some teams could take advantage of it to improve their times. The grid established on Wednesday evening is therefore still provisional, awaiting the last driving session.
