On s’attend évidemment à un mano à mano entre les Peugeot 908 officielles (Alexander Wurz / Marc Gene / Anthony Davidson et Frank Montagny / Stéphane Sarrazin / Pedro Lamy) et les Audi R15+ (Timo Bernhard / Romain Dumas / Mike Rockenfeller et Dindo Capello / Tom Kristensen / Allan McNish).
Mais la lutte pourrait être troublée par la 908 HDI FAP d’ORECA (Nicolas lapierre / Loïc duval / Olivier Panis) ou encore la HPD ARX-01e du Highcroft Racing (David Brabham / Marino Franchitti / simon pagenaud).
