Fernando Alonso (Ferrari), after having achieved the best time in the first two free practice sessions for the Monaco Grand Prix, knows that nothing is won. But the Spanish driver is also convinced that he can compete with Red Bull SATURDAY. At least, he hopes so.
« I could understand there being a feeling of pessimism after Red Bull's show of strength in Barcelona qualifying but we know that here, having the right settings can make more of a difference than the amount of downforce., says the double World Champion. We already have a good starting point since, last year, Kimi (Räikkönen) was close to pole position with a car that was far from the F10 in terms of potential. »
