The Brazilian GP commissioners sanctioned the drivers McLaren at the end of the Brazilian GP for not having respected the blue flags. Fernando Alonso and Stoffel Vandoorne received a 5 second penalty.
The future driver of HWA AG in Formula e slipped to 15th behind Esteban Ocon (Force India), while the Spaniard also lost a position finding himself 17th between the Williams by Sergey Sirotkin and Lance stroll.
The McLaren drivers also received two points on their license, a negligible sanction since they will not compete in the 2019 season. F1.
