Fernando Alonso et Sebastian Vettel experienced one of the most beautiful rivalries in the history of the Formula 1. The two drivers battled for a long time for the world championship, between 2010 and 2013, with two epic outcomes in 2010 and 2012. The Spaniard at Ferrari, the German at Red Bull : the adversity between the two world champions marked an era. Almost 10 years later, Sebastian Vettel will leave the world of F1 while the Spaniard persists, despite a two-season break.

The Bull of Asturias, who maintains a good relationship with the German driver, will pay tribute to him for his last Formula 1 race, at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The Iberian will wear a special helmet which features the iconic black-red-yellow tricolor stripe of the German flag, specific to Sebastian Vettel's helmet. On the side, an inscription: “Danke Seb! » [Thank you Seb!], with a German flag and the logo of the quadruple world champion.

On social networks, Fernando Alonso also had a little message for his rival and friend. “Danke Seb!” [Thank you Seb!] One last time I share the track with you, it will be moving and sad at the same time, but I wish you the best for your next chapter. » A nice tribute from the pilot Alpine who will take the German's place at Aston Martin next year.
