This Q1 of qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix was marked by the exit from the track of Sergio Pérez, promised to the back of the grid.

This is already the image of these qualifications. Sergio Pérez in the gravel trap of the third turn. In difficulty a little earlier during the third free practice session this Saturday morning, the Mexican does not seem to have resolved his problems. The pilot Red Bull actually failed to brake and went straight into the gravel. His tanked RB19, the teammate of Max Verstappen had to resolve to abandon his car. A start from the back of the grid now awaits him this Sunday.

Concerning the others eliminated, Sergio Pérez is joined by Valtteri Bottas, Logan sargeant, Guanyu-Zhou et Oscar piastri. At the front, it was Max Verstappen who set the best time in 1'17″384.
