Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull), who made an off-track foray during the 55th lap, had to return to his pit to change tires. Because of this loss of time, the German driver gave up his third place to Fernando Alonso, who climbs onto the provisional podium. In the lead, Mark Webber has 15?? in advance of Lewis Hamilton, who has him 8?? ahead of Alonso.
